On August 9th 2020, the Milagres parishioners joined their hands to bid farewell to Rev. Fr. Joseph Jerald Lobo who served as the Parish Priest of Our Lady of Miracles Church for one year.
Thanksgiving mass was celebrated by Fr. Joseph Lobo at 7.15am along with Rev.Fr. Anil Pinto, Rev.Fr. Michael Santhumayor, Rev. Fr. Maxy D’Souza & Rev. Fr. Kenneth Crasta
A short felicitation programme was organized soon after the mass. Fr. Joseph was honoured with a shawl, flower bouquet & a momento by the Parish Vice President Mr. Nigel Pereira & Secretary Mrs. Hilda Rodrigues along with the Priests. Parish Vice president Mr. Nigel Pereira read the citation & Parish Secretary Mrs. Hilda Rodrigues was the MC. Mr. Jude Fernandes and team sang a wonderful farewell wishing song.
Addressing the gathering Fr. Joseph Lobo expressed his gratitude to all the parishioners for their love & support. He also requested the parishioners to continue the same & as one spirit to come together & work for the betterment of the Parish. Fr. Anil Pinto Asst. Parish Priest was the overall incharge of the programme.
