Kindergarten
Milagres Kindergarten Section is a place which is homely, vibrant, filled with color, music and joy of activity.
The First few years are a time when tiny tots are curious to know and learn. Providing a quiet, comfortable, warm atmosphere to work with your child is what we work at. Classrooms are furnished with bright visuals, display boards and an array of Nursery equipment which in fact delights young learners. Values are creatively woven in through processes such as role plays, dance, music, art and craft and the curriculum.

Primary School
Milagres School started with classes I to V form in vernacular language and later in the year 1929, July 23 was accorded permanent recognition as an independent Secondary Institution by the Director of Public Instructions, Madras.
Milagres English Medium Higher Primary school has progressed and grown under the mentorship of eminent educators. Our Correspondents and Principals have been a source of strength and inspiration, rendering all their support to take us forward in this Educational mission of ours.

High School
Milagres school was founded by Bishop Bernadin in 1848 and was entrusted to the care of Mr. John Edward Fritzerald, an Irishman and Monsieur Dupert a Frenchman. In the beginning, it was started as a Primary English school with classes from 1st to 5th and higher classes were added gradually. The Director of Public instruction, Madras accorded permanent recognition to the school on 23rd July 1929 as an independent secondary institution with classes 1st to 5th and forms 1 to 5.
Sir Mevaral Stetham, the then Director of Public Instruction, Madras accorded the permission to open high school classes on 3rd April 1944 and accorded permanent recognition on 5th August 1954.
Though Milagres High school was a Boys’ institution for a number of years the management has opened its doors for girl students realising the importance of Women Empowerment from the year 2011 and at present the institution has a strength of 720 students including 78 girl students who are learning in a homely environment.
Our objective is the all round development of our students intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual challenges.

It strives at the formation of adolescents intellectually competent, who act effectively and emotionally balanced radiating happiness and contentment.
