SUNDAY CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS – 28/04/2019

2. Ward meeting:
   1. Vailankani Ward at the residence of Mrs. Lilly Alex, Babugudda, 1^st Cross, at 5.00p.m.
   2. Mother Teresa Ward at the residence of Ms. Leona Pais, Vishwas Residency, S.L. Mathias Road, at 5.30p.m.
   3. Milagres Ward at the residence of Mr. Mervin & Mrs. Yvonne Pinto,102, 1^st Floor, Westgate heights, sturrock Road at 5.00 p.m.

3. This week on Friday we celebrate the Feast of Sts. Philip & James Apostles.

4. Feast of Divine Mercy: will be celebrated tomorrow/today during 9.30a.m. Mass.

5. St. Joseph Ward members are celebrating their Ward Feast tomorrow/today during 9.30a.m. Mass thereafter get-together in the Parish Hall at 10.30a.m.

6. St. Paul Ward members are celebrating their Ward Feast on next Saturday, 4^th May, during 5.30p.m. Mass thereafter get-together in the Parish Hall.

7. We begin the Month of May on next Wednesday.  This month is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.  Let us pray the family Rosary and keep the family under the protection of Mother Mary.  We have daily Rosary in the Church at 6.30a.m. and 5.30p.m. followed by Holy Mass.  Kindly attend the Rosary.

8. Confirmation Students will have Catechism on Monday. Time 5.30p.m. to 7.00p.m. On Thursday, 2^nd May at 5.30p.m. Bishop will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation for our children.  All the Parishioners are requested to attend the Confirmation Mass.

9. Ladies Social Service League, – Meeting will be held 1^st May at 5.00 p.m.. All members are requested to attend.Ladies Social Service League Milagres Unit will be celebrating “Mother’s Day” for all the mothers of our Parish on next Sunday, 5^th of May 2019 during 9.30a.m. Mass followed by get-together in the Parish Hall which will conclude with lunch. Please register at the Church office by 1^st May. Mothers of our parish are cordially invited.

10. Catholic Sabha, Manglore Pradesh® is celebrating 40^th Year of its existence in the Diocese of Mangalore and Milagres Unit of Catholic Sabha completes 22^nd year.  To remember these events a get together is organized by the Parish Unit of Catholic Sabha on Monday, 29^th April 2019 at 5.30p.m. in the Parish Hall.  All members are requested to attend the same.

11. We thank Ward Gurkars/ Representatives who are helping the families to fill the survey forms. I remind once again all the Gurkars/ Representatives to take up the survey work in your respective ward & complete it by the first week of May 2019.

12. This is an appeal for the Parents who’s children have already received First Holy Communion and wish to donate their children’s dress for the needy.  We have few needy children in this batch.  Kindly come forward to help them.  You can hand over the dress to the Church Office.

13. Couples for Christ India – Youth in association with Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church, Urwa is conducting a “Summer Camp” for the Youths aged between 13 years to 20 years. This camp will be held at “St. Aloysius English Medium School Urwa” from Friday May 10^th to Sunday May 12^th. We encourage all our youths to participate in large number.(For details kindly refer the Notice Board.)

14.  As there is acute shortage of water all around, I appeal to you to pray for the rain during the family Rosary.

15. Sunday collection on 21^st April is Rs.69,900/-  Thank you for your generosity.

16. Church Bulletin Milarche Milan Easter Issue is ready. Gurkars kindly collect from the Sacristy and distribute in your wards.
