The ward members of St. Mary’s Ward assembled in Mrs. Marie D’Souza’s house in the evening at 5.30 p.m. on 17th September 2017. Mrs. Marie welcomed the gathering. Small children greeted Infant Mary with a song. Ward Gurkarn Mrs. Mary Pereira read the “Word of God”. Bible Quiz was conducted and prizes were distributed. Around 70 ward members actively participated in the quiz competition. Housie Housie game was conducted. Mrs. Marie D’Souza’s 75th Birthday was celebrated by cutting cake on this occasion. She distributed sweets packets to all. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Valerian D’Souza appreciated and blessed everyone.
The food prepared by ward members was served. The programme was compered by Mrs. Agatha G. D’Souza. Mrs. Lizzy Rego thanked all the members.
