Pilgrimage to the churches of Udupi Diocese was arranged on the 26th February. 25 senior citizens of our parish gathered at 8.15 a.m. and left by bus singing Hymns.
Visited St. Francis Xavier Church at Udyavar. After seeing the church we started the Rosary (one decade) and a hymn, we proceeded to Parampadi to visit St. Maria Goretti Church which was recently built. There we recited the second decade of rosary and sang two hymns. From there we proceeded to Mount Rosary church at Kalyanpur where we said the third decade of rosary and sang hymns. Then we visited Stella Maris church at Kalmadi and said one more decade of rosary and hymns.
After lunch we relaxed for sometime going around the place. Played a game of housie housie. Everyone joined in the game. After tea we left for Mangalore. On our way we visited St. Antony’s church at Kulur and recited on decade rosary and sang hymns.
