The Children’s Day was celebrated by the St. Aloysius Ward members on 18th November 2018 at SAC Campus.
The prayer service on that day was conducted by the children of our ward. The service started with procession of children with offerings. The word of God John 18:33-37 was read both in Konkani and English by Queenie Menezes and Rachael Saldanha respectively. The reflection of the word of God was proclaimed by Emerita. Prayer of the faithful was conducted by Riya, Sanjay, Roshel, Rohan, Anson, Mathew and Joyline. A special prayer and blessing was given to the children by the elders.
After the prayer services, games were conducted for the children of different age groups. The children actively participated in the games and the Winners and Runner-up’s were felicitated with a trophy.
The programme ended with refreshments.
