  3. St Thomas ward meeting & Novena at the residence of Mary Pinto, Roshan Villa at 5.00 p.m.
  4. Ladies Social Service League meeting is on Wednesday at 4.30 p.m. in Monica Hall.
  5. This week we have the novena everyday in the evening at 5.30 p.m. children and the adults, kindly be generous to our Mamma Mary in your devotion and offering of flowers.
  6. Monthi Feast Committee Attavar organises novena at the residence of Orland & Janet Fernandes, Vailankanni ward from 30th August. Weekdays the novena is at 6.45 p.m. and on Sunday at 5.00 p.m. Kindly be involved to lead the prayers.
  7. We have confessions in view of Monthi feast. It’s on 4th September Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. We will have the guest Priests.
  8. On 5th September we have the teachers day. We pray for our teachers and request them to attend the evening 5.00 p.m. mass and thereafter to be available for greetings.
  9. On 6th September Sunday, we request the children and adults to bring vegetables, grocery or any other offering to be offered to Mother Theresa Ashram inmates. The mass is at 9.30 a.m.
  10. The feast day arrangements on 08.09.2026:
    • 6.00 a.m. Mass in Konkani
    • 7.00 a.m. Procession to start near KMC Hospital, Attavar with new corn followed by Solemn Mass in Konkani at 8.30 a.m. & Breakfast
    • 10.30 a.m. Solemn Mass in English
  11. You are welcome to give mordom, pirjent or any other church support.
  12. The Environment Commission and Health Commission jointly will be conducting an awareness session on Terrace Gardening on the occasion of “Laudato Si Sunday” on next Sunday 6th September from 9.30. a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the Parish Hall. All are invited.
  13. As decided in the Parish Pastoral Parishad there will be a training on Liturgy & for Lectors (those who proclaim the word of God during liturgy), on 21st & 23rd September (Monday & Wednesday) from 6.00 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. Gurkars are requested to collect the names from your respective wards and submit the list to the church office on or before 19th September.
  14. Last Sunday, we celebrated ‘Yuva Milan’. We thank all the youth for participating in the programme. A special thanks to Mr. Stany Baretto of Lourdes Ward for generously sponsoring the programme.
  15. We are very happy to announce that the required permission from the Government to raise the student strength in our Milagres Nursing College from 40 to 60 is acquired. We thank God and our Patron Our Lady of Miracles. We congratulate and sincerely thank all those involved in this achievement.
