  2. Our Bishop has appointed Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth as the new Parish Priest of Our Lady of Miracles Parish, Milagres. He will be installed as the Parish Priest by our Vicar General Fr. Maxim Noronha on 10th August at 4p.m. We very warmly welcome Fr. Bonaventure Nazareth, the new Parish Priest of Milagres and wish him all the best in the new assignment. (In compliance to Covid protocol we request only the Gurkars, Finance Council members, the Heads of the Institutions and the Superiors of the Convents to be present for the welcoming Ceremony at 3.45pm at the Church Portico.)
  3. Our Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Joseph Lobo will be moving from here on August 11th, 2020 to take the next assignment as parochial Vicar of Philip and James Parish in the diocese of New York along with higher studies. Tomorrow 9th August 2020, Rev. Fr. Joseph Lobo, Parish Priest will celebrate the Holy Eucharist at 7.15a.m. followed by a short farewell programme.
  4. On Saturday, 15th August we are celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption and also the Independence Day of our Country. It is the day of Solemnity and Obligation.  On Friday, 14th evening Mass is at 5p.m. in Konkani.  On Saturday, the Holy Masses are as follow: 6.00a.m., 7.15a.m. (Konkani), 8.30a.m.(English). I request all to participate in the Flag Hoisting Ceremony as a mark of respect and honour to our Country, after the 7.15a.m. Mass.

  7. Last Sunday collection is Rs. 9,180/-. We have sent this amount to Bishop’s house towards ongoing formation of the Priest. Thank you for your generosity.
