Dear Milagres Parishioners,
Greetings and Peace of the Lord. As we continue facing this most challenging time with prayer and Precautions, I would like to announce the following taking note of the directives from our Bishop and the guidelines from the Government to our Parishioners:
- Weekend Sunday Masses will resume this weekend i.e. June 20th and 21st. Mass schedule will be as follows:
- June 20th (Saturday) 4.00 p.m in English and 5.15 p.m. in Konkani.
- June 21st (Sunday) 6.00 a.m, 7.15 a.m, 10.00 a.m, 5.00 p.m in Konkani and 8.30 a.m in English
- All who wish to attend mass, strictly should be inside before the Mass starts. So be early to be seated inside.
- Daily Mass will resume from June 20th at 6.00 and 7.00 in the morning and 5.30 in the evening. No recitation of morning prayers, or Rosary or Novena or adoration prior to or after Mass in the Church until these restrictions are revoked by the government. Also no kissing or touching of statues or any sacred places anywhere inside the church.
- Masks or Face coverings must be worn by all present. Please maintain social distancing all through the mass. Please remember proper hand washing, hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance of the Church. There will be one entry point at the Portico and two exit doors to the church building. You are strongly requested to use these entry/exit doors strictly. The maximum capacity will be no more than 30 percent in the Church at any given time. I request you to abide by all the proper precautions and protocols presented to us, to keep us as safe as possible.
- Holy Communion will be distributed only on the Palm. Maintain social distance as you come to receive communion. Cleaning and sanitizing will be conducted in the Church and the surrounding after each celebration.
- Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms and other sacramental life of the Church and public liturgical celebrations will resume with similar protocols and mandates.
Please Note: those who are sick or vulnerable due to age or underlying health conditions (those who have cough or cold or fever) are not allowed and are strongly encouraged to remain at home and view Mass on television or online. This includes children below ten and seniors above 65 years. They are granted dispensation from Sunday obligation.
