  1. Fatima Ward members are celebrating their Ward Feast on Monday, 13th May 2019. Rosary at 5.30p.m. at the Portico followed by thanksgiving Mass at 6.00p.m. Thereafter Celebration in the Parish Hall at 6.45p.m.
  1. Tomorrow/today at 9.30a.m. Mass 22 Children will receive First Holy Communion. On behalf of the Parish Community I am grateful to Mrs. Doris Lobo, Sacred Heart Ward and Mrs. Clarissa Rodrigues, Fatima ward for training our First Communicants. We also thank Gracy, Sujatha, Walter Nazareth, Sacristan, Mr. Cyprian Vas and Choir members for contributing to the Celebration. In particular I thank Fr. Edwin Monis for co-ordinating the entire training programme. We appreciate and thank their service to the little children.

 

 

  1. Nayantara Doroty D’Souza awarded Chairman’s Distinguished Student Gold Medal for the best academic performance in her PGDM (MBA) at SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore. She was also the recipient of the God Medal in her B.Com at St. Aloysius College. Nayantara is the daughter of Dr. Gerard and Mrs. Sherril D’Souza of Falnir, Mangalore. We congratulate Nayantara on securing a Gold Medal and wishing her a bright future.

 

  1. The Catholic Charismatic Renewal in India is organizing the National Evangelization Retreat which will be held on 16th to 19th May 2019 at Divine Call Centre, Mulki. Details refer Notice Board.

 

  1. Catholic Charismatic Leaders meeting is fixed in the Bishop’s House on Sunday, 26th May 2019. The Programme begins at 9.30a.m. and will continue till 4.30p.m. Bishop will address the Charismatic Leaders. Details refer the Notice Board.

 

  1. Wenlock Hospital is going to start Help Desk to give better service to the patients who come from far away places. It is an opportunity for us to offer our service to the Hospital and Patients. I appeal to all the parishioners and especially the Senior Citizens/Retired persons to come forward to offer the service to the poor and needy patients. Those who wish to render service kindly register your name in the Church Office. Kindly note, there will not be any financial burden to the Volunteers.

 

  1. Parish Priest and the Parishioners wish to express their heartfelt thanks to the Donors who have contributed towards the construction of the Church-St. Lawrence the Martyr, Permude, Kasargod District. The amount contributed by the Parishioners is Rs.7,03,505/- (Seven Lakhs three thousand five hundred five) only.

 

  1. The Ward Gurkars are reminded to submit the filled Survey Forms to the Church Office. Kindly note that the filled Forms are to be sent to Bishop’s House by 15th of this month. Kindly co-operate.

 

  1. Sunday collection on 5th May is Rs. 48,290/- Thank you for your generosity. We have sent this amount to Bishop’s House for Africa (Holy See)
