  1. Coming Saturday/Sunday Liturgy will be conducted by:

  2. Ward Meetings:
    • St. Francis Xavier Ward – Way of the Cross will be held at Nazareth Convent Chapel at 5.00p.m.
    • St. Mary Ward – Ward Gathering at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Anita & Cyril Dcunha, #502, 5th floor, Concord Apartment, 1st Cross Road, Near Sanjivini Medicals, Falnir at 5.00p.m. Rosary will be recited at 4.30p.m followed by the meeting.
    • St. Joseph Ward – meeting at the residence of Mrs. Gladys Pinto, Bishop Compound at 5.00p.m.
  3. Meetings:
    • The meeting of the Catholic Sabha will be held on Monday, 16th March, at 5.30p.m. in the Monica Hall.
  4. Parish Pastoral Parishad meeting will be held on Tuesday, 17th March at 5.30p.m. in the Parish Hall. All the members are requested to be present for the same.
  5. This week on Thursday, 19th March, we celebrate the feast of St. Joseph
  6. Mrs. Roshni Tauro of Carmel Ward and Mr. Rohan Manoj Pinto of St. Thomas Ward have been elected as the new Gurkarn and Gurkar. We congratulate and wish both of them a fruitful tenure.
    Mrs. Leena Pinto of St. Thomas Ward is elected as a Ward Representative. We also congratulate and wish her all the best.
    We thank Mr. Denzil Jesudasan, Gurkar of Carmel Ward and Mrs. Flora Mascarenhas, Gurkarn of St. Thomas Ward for their dedicated service to the Wards and the Church and pray to the Lord to bless them and their family.

    • Friday 5.30pm St. Mary’s Ward and Mother Theresa Ward
    • Sunday 4.30pm St. Paul and Carmel Ward
  8. The Annual Retreat will be from Wednesday, 1st April to Friday, 3rd April 2020 in the Milagres Church in the evening between 5.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. Rev. Fr. Antony Prakash Monteiro will preach the Retreat. Kindly note these dates
  9. On 22nd March, Sunday our Milagres YOUTH will organize Bible and other Art Exhibition –“Kala Sambram” in our Senate Hall. We request you if you have any paintings based on Bible, religious and nature. Please send photo of the art to church as early as possible. Whatsapp number 8277939368.   10. A Konkani drama “Zhuz” written by Fr. Alwyn Serrao, on Life and Resurrection of Jesus will be staged on Saturday, 21st March, in our Jubilee Hall at 6.30p.m.
  11. St. Anthony’s Devotion Trust, Jeppu will be conducting LIVE Way of the Cross tomorrow/today at 5.00pm in their Campus.

  13. Bible Study for Laity – An overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation commences from 20th April to 25th April 2020 Timings: 9.00am to 2.30pm Venue: Mangala Jyothi, Bajjodi . For more details refer the notice board.
  14. We all know that the Corona virus has been declared a pandemic. As a church one of our sacred duties is to look after the health and safety of the community gathered each day for prayer and worship. Part of that duty is to prevent and respond to infectious diseases that may be in our community. Therefore, we are taking certain precautions until the situation is contained.
    • The Holy water fonts will be empty for a few days.
    • Communion to the faithful during mass would be given in the hand rather than the tongue.
    • Handshakes are to be avoided, and ministers of the communion should wash their hands properly before and after.
    • Keep yourself informed about the symptoms of the disease and seek medical help if needed.
