On 15th September, our ward came together to celebrate the nativity of Mother Mary at the residence of Merwyn and Preethi Goveas.
The event began with a prayer service offering special intentions for a girl child, for peace in the world, the sick, and the departed souls followed by presenting flowers to Infant Mary.
A special moment of the day was the cutting of the cake in honor of our mother, symbolizing joy and thereafter games like Biblical housie and quiz on Mother Mary was conducted.
Addressing the ward members, our Parish Priest Fr. Bona reminded us of the role of Mother Mary in our lives and her constant care as our Heavenly Mother.
Delicious food cooked by our own ward members was enjoyed by all.
It was a day filled with gratitude, reflection, and a renewed spirit of devotion.
