The Parish day of Our Lady of Miracles Church, Mangalore was held on 26th January, 2025. The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist at 7.00 a.m. celebrated by the Parish Priest and concelebrated with the Parish Clergy.
The cultural program began at 6.00 p.m. at the Milagres Church premises. The Religious sisters of the Parish invoked God’s blessings through a prayer song. The Vice President welcomed the gathering. The secretary read out the report of the activities of the previous year. The Chief guest of the occasion, Mr. Clarence Pais, was introduced by Dr Sandra Farias. The chief guest highlighted the status of Milagres Parish. He also brought to the notice of the people his efforts to ease the issues and the cost factor on the probation of the will. The hostellers’ of Milagres Nursing College entertained with a song. Fr Robin Santhumayer mastered the ceremony.
The whole Parish was divided into four zones who presented 20 minutes each variety entertainment program. The competition concluded with Zone III emerging as winners, Zone II as runners up, Zone I as in third place and Zone IV securing the fourth place. They were awarded with Trophies for their performance.
The parish priest appreciated the efforts of the parishioners and the leadership that has emerged through the performance arranged by the zones. The parish clergy along with Rev. Ronald Serrao, Ashwin Dcosta and Melisha Pinto the judges witnessed this magnificent event. All participated in the grand dinner organised on the occasion.
