On the 13th of December 2017, members of Ladies Social Service League along with other parishioners arranged Christmas celebration for the Paediatric ward patients at the Wenlock hospital. About 100 children and their attenders/parents participated in the programme. Some of the Gurkars and parishioners also involved in the programme. Christmas carols were sung with Santaclos. Christmas tableau was enacted to give message of Christmas.
Rev. Fr. Edwin Monis, Asst. Parish Priest welcomed the gathering. Rev. Fr. Valerian D’Souza, Parish Priest gave the Christmas message. He wished all the patients and their families good health and happiness and blessed them all. The paediatrician Dr. Balakrishna Rao addressed the gathering and thanked for arranging the programme. Ward Incharge and the matron were present. Cake sweets and fruits were distributed to all present for the programme. Toys and balloons were also given to the children.
