  7. August 15th Friday is the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and the Independence Day. It’s a day of obligation. Hence 14th evening, 6.00 p.m. we have mass. 15th, on Friday we have three masses, 6.00 & 7.00 a.m. Konkani and 8.30 a.m. in English. After 7.00 a.m. Mass, we have the Flag hoisting. Evening Mass at 6.00 p.m. is cancelled. The Flag hoisting by the Schools/Colleges will be at 9.00 a.m.
  8. Tomorrow/Today, there is the Diocesan SCC Convention between 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Cordel. The representatives and those deputed from the ward are requested to attend.
  9. On the occasion of the Independence Day, the YCS is organising the Fancy dress & Patriotic song singing competition on 10th August at 3.30 p.m. children kindly register your names and others are welcome to support them.
  10. In Orissa, there has been again attack on Catechists, Sisters and Priests. Those who are supposed to give protection and security to the minorities attack us through the goons. Kindly be aware of the administration and the rule. Kindly react to the situations and pray that the Lord be our protection and a judge to the wicked.
  11. The South Indian Bank has sanctioned Rupees Twenty Lakhs from CSR fund to purchase a bus for our Nursing college. We are grateful to the bank. Another Nine Lakh Seventy Thousand will be borne by us. This is for your information.
