  3. Ward Meetings & Gatherings:
    1. Secular Franciscan Order meeting is on Monday at 4.30 p.m. in Monica Hall.
    2. Christian Mothers meeting is on Thursday at 4.15 p.m. in Monica Hall.
    3. We begin the Salve devotion from 8th September. It’s at 5.30 p.m. at the adoration chapel. Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows is on Sunday.
    4. Parish Finance Council meeting on Monday, 9th September at 5.30 p.m.
    5. Parish Pastoral Parishad meeting is on 17th September at 5.30 p.m.
    6. Parish Assembly meeting is on 22nd September at 7.45 a.m. These meetings are in view of church accounts.
    7. Monthi Feast Committee meeting is on Tuesday, 10th September at 5.30 p.m.
  4. Next Saturday is the feast of The Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Masses are as usual. We have Taize prayer for our children, youth and parishioners at 6.00 p.m. at Jubilee Complex. We request you to be part of it. We are aware of the attack on Monastery on 14th September 2008, 16 years ago. A fitting day to venerate and offer our supplications.
  5. In view of the feast, mass timings are being changed. 6.00 a.m. is Konkani mass, 7.15 a.m. procession with corn begins at Attavar. Kindly join in the procession wherever it is easier to you. 8.00 a.m. we have the blessing of the corn in the Church premises followed by mass. English mass is at 11.00 a.m. We will have breakfast after 8.00 a.m. mass. Let’s celebrate and rejoice at the birth of Our Blessed Mother.
  6. We request the Parish Pastoral Parishad members and even the others to be volunteers during procession. Let it be an occasion of gratefulness and thanksgiving for the first fruits of our labour and God’s blessing on us.
  7. The Episcopal City Deanery has fixed a Varado programme to all the Parish Pastoral Parishads and the Varado Pastoral Parishad on 22nd September 2024 between 4.30 to 6.30 p.m. at Fr. Mullers Convention Hall, Kankanady. It’s compulsory to all the members. I request you all the Council members to be present and support the event and get themselves enlightened on the role of the Parishads.
  8. Monthi feast is our family feast too. It’s apt that we remember our ancestors and pay tribute to them. I request you visit the cemetery on 8th, a visit, a small prayer, a flower and a lighting of candle will make a lot of difference and it’s a way of showing gratitude to them as well. Kindly oblige.
