  3. Meetings & Gatherings:-
    1. Fatima Ward Gurkar election on Sunday after 8.15 a.m. mass in the Parish Hall.
    2. St. Joseph Ward meeting & Way of the Cross on Sunday at the residence of Anna Mascarenhas, Bishop Compound at 4.00 p.m.
    3. Catholic Sabha meeting & election on Monday at 5.30 p.m. in Monica Hall.
  4. Today we have the Women’s Day celebration. Programme begins at 5.30 p.m. in the Senate Hall. Kindly be present and feel the solidarity. The programme gets over with dinner.
  5. On Tuesday, 19 th we have the S.C.C. get together to begin at 5.00 p.m. We don’t speak of 7 step Gospel sharing method this time. You are welcome and feel the togetherness in the Jubilee Hall, which will get over with dinner.
  6. We have completed the Sanctuary painting. We have a thanksgiving Mass for the success of the work and blessing of the Altar to celebrate Mass with Holy oils. It’s on 22 nd, Friday at 6.00 p.m. Kindly participate. 5.30p.m. Way of the Cross will be there as usual followed by Mass. Our Bishop will preside over the Mass.
  7. We begin the Holy Week from next Sunday onwards. Being the Palm Sunday we have all the Masses except that of 9.30 a.m. At 7.00 a.m. we bless the Palms at Milagres Jubilee Hall, then we have the procession to the Church. The English Mass is at 8.30 a.m. We have cancelled the 9.30 a.m. mass. Evening, 5.00 p.m. is the Mass, followed by the special devotion by way of procession.
  8. Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday the time and the schedule of events, confessions and other services are also marked. These details are displayed at the entrance.
  9. Next Thursday, 21st of this month, Bishop celebrates Chrism Mass at 5.00 p.m. at Rosario Cathedral Church. Kindly be part of the celebration. The Holy oils will be blessed on the occasion.
  10. If Mordoms are to be given, kindly offer them at the Church office. Holy week and allied celebrations are there. Kindly be involved whenever requested.
  11. V. Rev. Fr. Denis Moras Prabhu, the former Vicar General, who was the Parish Priest here at Milagres between 1985 to 1993 expired this afternoon. Funeral is on Wednesday at Bajpe at 5.00 p.m. We pray for the repose of his soul.
  12. Admissions are open for various courses in Milagres Degree College for the year 2024-25. Details are displayed on the notice board.
