  6. Today being the feast of Christ the King, we have a short adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. We thank the Lord for the past Liturgical year and his blessings and seek His blessings for the forthcoming year.
    Next Sunday, we begin the new Liturgical year; the season of Advent. It has twofold character, one is to prepare for Christmas where we remember the first coming of Jesus, and secondly it is to prepare for the second coming of Christ, a period joyful and devout expectation. Though there are weddings, may the spirit of the season prevail in our celebrations.
