  4. Election of St. Thomas Ward Gurkar will be held on Sunday 08th March 2020 at 5.00p.m. in Milagres College, Girls Hostel, Vaslane, Ist Cross. All the ward members above the age of 18 are requested to be present for the election of Gurkar.
  5. Mr. John Monteiro, Gurkar of St Antony Ward has been elected as a Varado Pastoral Parishad Secretary and Mr. Nigel Pereira – Vice President and Gurkar of St. Joseph Ward has been elected as a Varado Representative. We congratulate and wish them all the very best.
  6. Coming Friday/Sunday :The Way of the Cross will be conducted by –
    • Friday 5.30pm Lourdes Ward and Monthi Saibin Ward
    • Sunday 4.30pm St. Francis Xavier Ward
      Way of the Cross has been assigned as per the Wards. Please look at the notice board.
      I request all the Parishioners to attend daily Mass and join the Way of the Cross every day during this Holy Season of Lent.
  7. The Annual Retreat begins on Wednesday and continues till Friday, 1st to 3rd April 2020 in the Milagres Church in the evening between 5.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. Rev. Fr. Antony Prakash Monteiro will preach the Retreat in Konkani. I request all the Parishioners to attend the Retreat.
  8. Lenten Campaign 2020 – This year Lenten Sacrifice will be used for the poor and needy. The Ward Gurkars/ Representatives/ Area Leaders will hand over the Lenten envelopes to you. Please show your generosity towards the needy.
  9. Campaign Against Suicide – Leaflets are distributed to Ward Gurkars along with the yellow ribbon. Requesting all of you to wear on your dress the yellow ribbon on 02March2020 to create awareness against suicide. For more details refer the notice board.
  10. First Holy Communion is scheduled on 03rd May, 2020. Those who have not yet registered their child’s name, are requested to do so as the date has been extended till 15th March 2020.
  11. We thank the entire Catechism Team Members including Rev. Fr. Anil Francis Pinto, Catechist, the Coordinator, Parents and the Students for the wonderful Catechism Day which was celebrated last Sunday. We congratulate the prize winners and also thank the Catechist for giving their precious time to teach the values of Christ and to live a good Christian Life to our young ones.

  13. St. Aloysius Institute of Civil Services in association with Alternative Learning Systems (ALS IAS). Admissions Open 2020-21 to train the students in civil service exam according to UPSC/KPSC Syllabus (Full-Time and Weekend coaching). I request our Youth to take the opportunity.   15. On 22nd March, Sunday our Milagres YOUTH will organize Bible and other Art Exhibition –“Kala Sambram” in our Senate Hall. We request you if you have any paintings based on Bible, religious and nature. Please send photo of the art to church Whatsapp number 8277939368. We will select them and exhibit.
