  1. Election of Vice President & Secretary for the newly formed Parish Council (2020- 2022) will take place on coming Sunday 24th November at 3.00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. We request all the members of New Parish Council to be present for the election.
  2. Feast celebrations this week:

  3. Christ the King Ward members are celebrating their ward feast – on Sunday 24th November during  00am mass.
  4. Catholic Sabha meeting will be held on Monday 18th November at 5.30p.m. in the Monica Hall.
  5. The Bishop has approved the election of Gurkars. The newly elected Gurkars: – Francis Xavier ward  – Mrs. Wilma Andrade & St. Aloysius Ward – Mrs. Monthin Mendonca. While we wish them all the best in their service to the Ward and the Parish, we also thank the Ex- Gurkars – Mrs. Cecilia Pereira as Gurkar of St. Francis Xavier ward & Vice President &    Mr. Edwin D’Cruz  as Gurkar of St. Aloysius ward for their selfless service to the Ward & the Parish and pray for God’s blessings upon them and their family.
  6. In the Elocution Competition held by the Catholic Sabha at Deanery Level, Loyston Fernandes of Vailankanni ward has won 1st Prize, Ms.Criselle D’souza of Carmel Ward,   & Ms.  Aashna Ferrao of Lourdes Ward    have won 2nd prize and are selected for the  central level Competition . We congratulate them & wish them all the best.
  7. Prescilla D’Silva is elected as  the new President of Sodality of  Our Lady of Sorrows. We congratulate & wish her all the best. We thank Mrs. Honora Pereira, the outgoing President for her services & invoke God’s blessings on her.
  8. “Faith Rally – Youth March for Christ” is organized on Sunday 1st December 2019 at 3.00 p.m. from Milagres Church to Nehru Grounds as a part of Year of Youth. We request our Milagres Youth to participate in this rally in large numbers. Marks will be allotted to the Unit with the highest members.
  9. Joe Mathias, Rector of St. Peter’s Seminary, Bangalore Rev. Fr. Sunil and Rev. Fr. Bonaventure are here with us for all weekend Masses requesting your support towards the Seminarians. We request your prayerful support towards the seminarians. We thank them for being here with us. Kindly support generously towards this noble cause.
  10. Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a ‘PRERAN – 2019’ an Entrepreneurs Day with Career Guidance and Training for the Youths on November 23rd from 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. at L.F. Rasquinha Hall of St. Aloysius College, Mangaluru & “Enterpreneurs Meet’ in the Milagres Hall at 6.30p.m. For more details refer the notice board.

  12. Coming Sunday our Milagres Youth will be conducting various competitions after the 9.30 a.m. Mass  to our Children  upto 10th as a part of  Children’s Day celebration. Programme will end at 12p.m During Catechism class Bible Quiz will be conducted by the Catechism  teachers.. Parents kindly encourage your children.
  13. The Sunday collection on 10th November  is Rs.  42,180/-. Thank you for your generosity Mission Sunday Box collection from Catechism Children is   18,662/-. We appreciate the children for contributing their mite for the mission of Jesus Christ.
