  1. Ms. Samantha Rosario, D/o Dominic Rosario & Smitha Rosario of St. Antony Ward has won III prize in  52nd  Interparish Elocution Competition for 5 – 10 yrs held by Konkani Natak Sabha at Don Bosco Hall. We congratulate her.

  1.  On Thursday, 15th August we are celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption and also the Independence Day of our Country.  It is the day of Solemnity and Obligation.  On Wednesday, 14th evening Mass is at 4.30p.m. in English and 5.30p.m. in Konkani.  On Thursday, the Holy Masses are as follow: 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m. (Konkani),  8.30a.m.(English), & 5.00p.m. (Konkani). I request all to participate in the Flag Hoisting Ceremony as a mark of respect and honour to our Country, after the 7.00a.m. Mass.
  1. Prison Ministry India, Mangalore, will be celebrating Prison Ministry Sunday on 18th August 2019.  Let us remember to pray for the prisoners.
  1.  Prayerful Choral Sacred Music entitled “Exsultate!” led by Mr. Brian Soans scheduled today (Saturday)  from 6.45p.m – 8.30p.m. in the Church is postponed due to heavy rain.
  1. Remote preparation on family life for the Catechism Children of Std. IX will be held tomorrow 11th August 2019 at Cascia Church Hall.  The programme starts at 8.00 a.m with the Mass and ends at 2.30p.m. with lunch. Parents are requested to send their children to Cascia Church directly without fail.
  1. Christian Minority  Scholarship online submission of  application has started.  The  beneficiaries can submit their application to the Church office for the Milagres Educational Scholarship with the copy of their Minority Scholarship Application by  31st August 2019.
  1. This year our Diocese  celebrates the Year of Youth. As a mark of year of youth, our ICYM members are planning to construct a house for the poor family in Diocesan level. You are requested to contribute your loving might. Our Milagres youth will meet you after the Mass. If you want to contribute directly to the ICYM A/c, please contact Asst. Parish Priest, Fr. Anil Pinto.
