  1. Ward Meetings:
    1. Infant Jesus Ward at the residence of Mrs. Winnifred Crasta, Gurkarn, Flat No.703, Ford Mansion Apartments, New Balmatta Road, at 6.00p.m.
    2. Vailankani Ward at the residence of Mr. Joachim & Amrutha Solapur, Rotary Health Centre Road, at 5.00p.m.
    3. St. Antony Ward at the residence of Mrs. Mable D’Souza, Flat No.501, Thumbay Apartments, Avery Junction, at 5.00p.m.
  2. Meetings:
    1. Secular Franciscan Order will be held on Monday, 14th January, at 4.30p.m.
  3. The Catechism Classes for children resume from tomorrow/today.  I request the Parents to motivate the children to attend Catechism and thereafter Holy Mass.
  1. We appreciate and thank all the Volunteers for the co-operation in making the Diocesan Eucharistic Procession a grand success.
  1. The Year 2019 declared as the Year of the Youth for the Diocese of Mangalore. We are inaugurating the “Year of the Youth” tomorrow/today during 7.00a.m. Mass.  All the Youth of our Parish are requested to attend the 7.00a.m. Mass and for the inaugural ceremony.
  1. Election for Fatima Ward, Gurkar will take place tomorrow/today after 7.00a.m. Mass whereas election for Mother Theresa Ward Gurkar will take place tomorrow/today after 8.15a.m. Mass in the Parish Hall.  All the Ward members above the age of 18 should be present for the election of Gurkar.
  1. Annual House Blessings will begin from Monday, 14th January 2019.  The Ward Gurkars will tell you the day and time.  Kindly co-operate.  We begin with

  1. Parish Day will be celebrated on Sunday, 3rd February 2019. On this occasion meritorious children/Youth will be honoured for academic and co-curricular activities.  Hence we request the eligible candidates to collect the Application Forms from the church office, fill it and submit to the office by Saturday,  26th January 2019.

Student of X std and II P.U.C. who have appeared for the Public exam                     last year 2018 and secured Distinction.

Youth who appeared for Final Degree exam, including professional                         course and secured Distinction.

Children of  VII & X Std who have earned Distinction in the Diocesan                         Catechism Exam held last year

Youth who have earned 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place in the District, State & National                level in sports, dance,    singing Competition.

  1. Parish Day along with concluding the “Rosary Year” will be held on Sunday 3rd February 2019.  The Thanksgiving Mass will be celebrated at 7.00a.m. and Cultural Programme at 5.30p.m. in the Jubilee Hall which will conclude with fellowship meal.  Let us join together and celebrate the family spirit of the Parish.
  2. Prof. Maria C. D’Costa from Carmel Ward together with few other Catholic Organizations of Mangalore is arranging a Programme “Celebrate the elderly” tomorrow/today at Roshni Nilaya Auditorium from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. All  those who are above the age 60 are requested to attend the Programme.  The Programme will conclude with refreshments.
  1. Sunday Collection on 6th December is Rs.45,070/-,  We have sent this amount to Bishop’s House towards the maintenance of Retired Priests. Thank you for your generosity.
