  3. The Episcopal Ordination of the newly elected Bishop for the Diocese of Mangalore, Very Rev. Msgr. Peter Paul Saldanha will take place on Saturday, 15th September at Rosario Cathedral Church, Mangalore.  The Organizing Committee has requested to inform the total number of participants from each Parish by Thursday, 30th August 2018.  Accordingly I request you to inform your Ward Gurkar, about your participation by 25th August 2018.  This information is required to organize the seating arrangement and refreshment including food.
  4. Novena: The Novena for the feast of Nativity of Blessed Virgin Mary begins on Thursday, 30th August. On Thursday the evening Mass will be at 5.30p.m. & after the Mass we  have Novena prayers and presentation of flowers to Infant Mary. We request the parents to encourage their children to attend regularly for Novena and present flower to Mother Mary

Donors are requested to come forward to Sponsor the sweets to children on Novena Days & festive expenses of                 Month Feast.  Mordoms fees Rs.500/-. The major expenses is for Pendol Rs.62,000/- Sound System including                   C.C.T.V. Rs.18,000/-. Donors names will be announced on Novena days and prayers will be offered for their                Intentions.

  1. We celebrate Monthi Fest on Saturday, 8th September. Holy Masses 6.00a.m. is the first Mass followed by 8.30a.m. the Solemn Festive Mass in Konkani, and evening at 4.30p.m. (English) & 5.30p.m. (Konkani) Sunday Obligation Mass.

        Procession details on the Nativity of Mother Mary’s Feast: The Procession begins at 7.15a.m.  All the                            parishioners are requested to assemble at Attavar B.V. Road Junction at 7.00a.m. Since this is the only one annual              Procession of the Parish all the Parishioners are requested to assemble at the starting point.  Procession route:                  Attavar Junction connecting Sturrock Road, touching the Mother Teresa Road at Avery Junction, leading to the main             entrance of the Church.  You can get your Vehicles to the starting point and join the Procession. The First Holy                   Communion children of this year are requested to join the Procession with First Communion dress, to add the Solemnity        to the Procession.

Before the Solemn Mass Mordoms & Sponsors will be honoured.  We have made elaborate arrangements for seating           for all the people on Monthi Fest day including C.C.T.V. facility

  1. The financial aid from the Parish will be distributed to the deserving children of our Parish on Wednesday, 22ndAugust 2018 at 10.30a.m. in the Parish Hall.  The Parent should accompany the child for the meeting.  The list of the students is put on the Notice Board.
  2. Stany Francis Baretto Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- for the Academic Year 2017-’18- Students of  Milagres Parish who have completed S.S.L.C., P.U.C. and Degree with high First Class marks in the Academic Year 2017-’18 (last year) are hereby informed and requested to submit their attested photocopy of Marks Card to the Milagres Church Office by 10th September 2018 for the selection of the Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- in each Category.  Only those who apply in time will be considered for the Selection.
  3. Kavita Trust,  Mangalore,  will be organizing Konkani Poetry Reciting Competition  for the Youth and Children on 7th October 2018 at Don Bosco aHHall Hall.  For details refer the Notice Board.
  4. We are well aware that this monsoon has badly affected the State of Kerala.  Due to floods many people have died, lost their property.  People are sheltered in Camps.  There is acute shortage of food and clothing. May I request you to come forward and donate your share to the flood affected people.  You can also donate Rice unused clothing for Children and Adults and other non perishable items to the Church Office.
  1. Sunday collection on 12th August  is Rs.48,240/-, 15th August (Independence Day) is Rs.30,070/-Thank you for your generosity.
