  1. St. Thomas Ward members are celebrating their Ward Feast tomorrow/today during 9.30a.m. Mass followed by Ward get-together in the Parish Hall.

On Wednesday, 15th August we are celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Assumption and also the Independence Day of our Country.  It is the day of Solemnity and Obligation.  On Tuesday, 14th evening Mass is at 4.30p.m. in English and 5.30p.m. in Konkani. The Novena Prayer for St. Antony will be conducted after the 5.30p.m. Konkani Mass – for the information of the Devotees.  On Wednesday, the Holy Masses as follows: 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m., 8.30a.m.(English), & 5.00p.m.  I request all to participate in the Flag Hoisting Ceremony as a mark of respect and honour to our Country, after the 7.00a.m. Mass.

Stany Francis Baretto Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- for the Academic Year 2017-’18- Students of  Milagres Parish who have completed S.S.L.C., P.U.C. and Degree with high First Class marks in the Academic Year 2017-’18 (last year) are hereby informed and requested to submit their attested photocopy of Marks Card to the Milagres Church Office by 10th September 2018 for the selection of the Scholarship of Rs.10,000/- in each Category.  Only those who apply in time will be considered for the Selection.

  1. Maharashtra Konkan Association, Mumbai, is celebrating 25 years of its existence.  A mysterious Konkani comedy play titled “Bostu” will be enacted at Don Bosco Hall, on Wednesday, 15th August at 6.30p.m.
