  1. This week on Friday we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord.
  1. Ward meetings:
    1. St. Peter Ward at the residence of Mr. Melwyn & Leena Fernandes, at 6.00p.m.
  1. Infant Jesus Ward members are celebrating their Ward Feast tomorrow/today during 5.00p.m. Mass and thereafter get together in the Parish Hall.
  1. The Solemn Inauguration of the Year dedicated to Holy Rosary will be held tomorrow/today during 7.00a.m. Mass.  All the Parishioners are requested to attend this Mass.  Kindly get your personal Rosary, which will be Blessed during all the Masses. In particular the Parish Pastoral Council members, The Heads of all Associations, Altar Boys, Sodality members dedicated to Mother Mary should be present for the Mass.
  1. The Annual Retreat will be held for four days from Friday, 16th to 19th February 2018. Please pray for the success of the Retreat.  A well known Preacher Rev.Fr. Anand Reddy, Director, Retreat Centre, Andhra Pradesh, will lead the Retreat in English that will be translated in Konkani.  Kindly set aside these days to be with Lord.  Please inform your friends and relatives about the Retreat.
  1. The Admission for CBSE Classes at Milagres – our Parish School has begun.  Kindly enroll your children for U.K.G. and other Classes at the earliest.
  1. Parish Pastoral Parishad meeting is fixed on Tuesday, 30th January 2018 at 5.30p.m. in the Monica Hall. All are requested to attend the meeting.

Lenten Programme/Annual Retreat

  1. Christian Mothers Sodality will be organizing a Retreat for women from Tuesday, 30th January to Friday, 2ndFebruary, at St. Monica Chapel.  It begins at 4.00p.m.
  1. The secular minded people from various groups from the State of Karnataka have come together to organize communal Harmony in the form of human, chain in the entire State of Karnataka on Tuesday, 30th January at 3.00p.m. People believing in communal harmony are require to gather at the Nehru Maidan and at 4.00p.m. for about 10 minutes all will hold each other’s hand and take a oath to uphold communal harmony in the State of Karnataka.  I request all the Parishioners to join this noble cause to uphold communal harmony in the District and in our neighbourhood.
  1. First Holy Communion is fixed on Sunday, 6th May 2018. 4th Std. children are eligible to receive First Holy Communion.  Few parents of the First Communicants have already registered the name of their children for First Holy Communion.  Those who have not registered kindly do it on or before Wednesday, 31st January 2018 in the Church Office during working hours.
  1. Padua College, Nanthur, is hosting “Religious Dramas” written by Fr. Alwyn Serrao on February 4th, 11th and 25th(all on Sundays).  The Title of the Drama “Zuz”, “Mary Magdalene” and “Adam & Eve”  Timings : 6.00p.m.   Details refer the Notice Board.
