    2. St. Paul  Ward- Ward meeting & Christmas Celebration at the residence of      Mr. Arun Fernandes, 7thCross, Near Rotary Health Centre, Attavar at 5.00p.m.  Christmas Celebration will be organized by Mr. & Mrs. Jude and Rovina Fugle.
    3. Monthi Saibin Ward at the residence of Ms. Leena Noronha, Vijetha Lane, at 5.00p.m.
    4. Lourdes Ward Ward meeting and Christmas Celebration at Mother Teresa Convent, at 3.30p.m.
  2. Meetings:
    1. Catholic Sabha meeting will be held tomorrow/today at 10.30a.m. in the Monica Hall.
  1. To make the Christmas Season joyful for the children we have organized Christmas Crib and Christmas Card Competition tomorrow/today and on Sunday, 24th December Christmas Star Competition.  The Christmas Stars are to be submitted to the Parish Hall between 8.15a.m. to 9.15a.m.   Kindly encourage your children to get into the spirit of Christmas.   1. Milagres Educational Institutions are organizing Two days Cultural Programme called “Avishkar” together with Babyshow and Christmas Star Competition today and tomorrow.. (Saturday & Sunday) for Students, Parents and the Public.  The Programme includes variety of food stalls, games and  entertainment by the students, Alumnai and P.T.A. members.  All the Parishioners are invited to the Programme.  Details refer the Notice Board.
  1. Coming Saturday, 23rd December 2017, at 6.45p.m. the Diocese of Mangalore has organized Christmas Celebration with the poor in the Church Grounds.  Our Bishop will be present for the Programme.  I request the Volunteers and Choir members to be present on time at the Venue.

 

  1. The Solemn Christmas Mass will be celebrated on next Sunday, 24th at 7.30p.m. in the open air grounds of the Church, preceded by Carol Singing at 7.00p.m. After Mass there will be a short Programme related to Christmas.  Holy Masses on Monday, 25th December 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m., 8.15a.m. (English), 9/30a.m. and 5.00p.m. Sunday evening Mass at 5.00p.m. stands cancelled.
  1. As a preparation for Christmas, Confession is being organized on Thursday and Friday, 21st, and  22nd  from 9.00a.m. to 12.00noon and 3.00p.m. to 5.00p.m.
  1. New Year Celebrations:

Sunday, 31st is the last day of the year.  There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church Ground at 7.00p.m.  followed by Thanksgiving Mass at 8.00p.m.  All are requested to attend the Adoration and the Holy Mass, to thank the Lord and to begin the New Year 2018 with the Blessing of the Lord.  Sunday evening Masses stands cancelled. New Year, January 1st Monday-Holy Mass at 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m., 8.15a.m., and 5.00p.m.

  1. An Emergency Parish Pastoral Parishad meeting is fixed on Monday, 18th December 2017 at 5.30p.m. Venue: Property opposite Moti Mahal.  All the members are requested to attend the meeting.
  1. Senior Citizen’s Welfare Association of St. Francis Xavier Church, Bejai Parish will be conducting its first Annual Get-together on 19th January 2018.  The cost of the coupon per person is Rs.250/-.
  1. St. Agnes College is organizing a Musical Nite on 21st December 2017.  The Students of St. Agnes College are available with the tickets outside the Church premises.
  1. St. Sebastian Church, Bendur, organizing “Christmas Fancy Fete 2017” in aid of St. Joseph’s aided Kannada Higher Primary School, Nanthur, Calvary, on 25th December 2017 from 4.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. in their Church Premises.
  1. Mr. Ivan D’Souza MLC is organizing Christmas get-together near Kankanady Market on Thursday, 21st at 4.00p.m.  All are welcome to attend.  Details refer the Notice Board.
  1. Rosario Cathedral Church in memory of its 450 years existence, have brought out a multicoloured Calendar.  The proceeds of the same will be used to assist the poor.  Kindly patronize.  Calendars are available in the Campus.
