  4. We have the Parish Pastoral Parishad meeting on 18th August, Tuesday at 5.30 p.m. Members kindly be present.
  5. August 15th Saturday is the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady and the Independence Day. It’s a day of obligation. Hence on 14th evening, 5.00 p.m. we have mass. On 15th we have three masses, 6.00 & 7.00 a.m. in Konkani and 8.30 a.m. in English. After 7.00 a.m. Mass, we have the Flag hoisting. Evening 4.00 p.m. & 5.00 p.m. Sunday Masses are as usual. The Flag hoisting by the Schools/Colleges will be at 8.30 a.m.
  6. The Episcopal BEC (Basic Ecclesial Community) will be organizing a training program on children’s ward meeting for children studying from 5th to 9th Standard on 16th August, Sunday at the Milagres Senate Hall, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Each ward is requested to send two children to participate in this program.
  7. On 23rd August, Sunday we have “Yuva Milan”, 8.15 a.m. is the Mass followed by program at the Milagres college auditorium. Youth kindly be part of it and parents please encourage the youth of our Parish. We request the PUC, graduate and the unmarried up to 28 years to attend this programme. Breakfast and lunch arrangements will be there.
  8. A First Aid & CPR training programme is conducted on Sunday, 23rd August, From 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the Senate Hall. Two members from each ward must attend this training. Participants should be above 20 years & below 60 years of age. Those interested kindly submit your names & whatsapp number to the Gurkar on or before 15th August. Gukars are requested to submit the final names to the Church office. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for all participants.
  9. Missionary Families of Christ will be organising a series of Marriage Enriching Sessions on every Saturday evening from 15th August till 12th September in Milagres Cenacle hall. For more details see the notice board.

  11. Prema D’Lima is elected as the Gurkar of Vailankanni ward & Ida Doris Pinto is elected as the Gurkar of Infant Jesus ward. We congratulate them. We are grateful to the pervious Gurkars Philomena Ferrao & Sylvester Mascarenhas, for their service.
