  1. Meetings:
    1. Sodality of Mother of Sorrows on Monday, 7th January at 5.00p.m. in the Monica Hall.
  1. The Catechism Classes for children resume from next Sunday 13th January 2019.  I request the Parents to motivate the children to attend Catechism and thereafter Holy Mass.
  1. Next Sunday we celebrate the Feast of Baptism of the Lord.
  1. The Diocesan Annual Eucharistic Procession will take place tomorrow/today.  Bishop of Mangalore will celebrate Mass here at our Parish at 3.30p.m. followed by the Eucharistic Procession to Rosario Cathedral Church. This is a occasion we get once a year to witness our faith as a Community. Hence I request all the Parishioners to join the Procession and demonstrate our unity with the Lord and with one another.
  1. The Year 2019 will be declared as the Year of the Youth for the Diocese of Mangalore.  This official announcement will be done by our Bishop tomorrow/today during the Eucharistic Procession at Cathedral.  I request all the Youth of our Parish to join the Eucharistic Procession in large numbers.
  1. School Ground will be used for parking the Vehicles on the Diocesan Eucharistic Procession tomorrow/today at 3.00p.m.  onwards.
  1.  Volunteers are requested to report at 2.30p.m. tomorrow/today to render service inside the Church Compound during the Eucharistic Procession.  All Gurkars,  Ward Representatives and Head of the Association, including Eucharistic Ministers  should extend their helping hand as Volunteers inside the Church Campus.
  1. The term of Gurkarship of Mrs. Helen Pinto of Fatima Ward and Mr. Jerome Noronha of Mother Theresa Ward is coming to an end. Election for Fatima Ward, Gurkar will take place on next Sunday, 13th January 2019 after 7.00a.m. Mass whereas election for Mother Theresa Ward will take place on next Sunday, 13th January after 8.15a.m. Mass in the Parish Hall.

We thank them for their dedicated service to the Ward and the  Church             and pray to the Lord to bless them and their  family.

  1. Annual House Blessings will begin from Monday, 14th January 2019.  The Ward Gurkars will tell you the day and time.  Kindly co-operate.  We begin with

  1. Prof. Maria C. D’Costa from Carmel Ward together with few other Catholic Organizations of Mangalore is arranging a Programme “Celebrate the elderly” on Sunday, 13th January 2019 at Roshni Nilaya Auditorium from 4.00p.m. to 6.00p.m. All  those who are above the age 60 are requested to attend the Programme.  The Programme will conclude with refreshments.
  1. Senior Citizens Welfare Association will have a New Year get-together for Senior Citizens on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Eden Club, Nantoor.  Those who want to participate may book your names at the Church Office on or before January 10th.  For further details please see the Church Notice Board.
  2. Sunday Collection on 30th December is Rs.53,160/-,  New Year collection is Rs.60,820/-   Thank you for your generosity.   .
