  1. Meetings:
    1. Secular Franciscan Order on Monday, 8th January, at 4.30p.m. in St. Monica Hall.
  1. This week on Monday we celebrate the Feast of Baptism of the Lord.
  1. The Diocesan Annual Eucharistic Procession will take place tomorrow/today.  Bishop of Mangalore will celebrate Mass here at our Parish at 3.30p.m. followed by the Eucharistic Procession to Rosario Cathedral Church. This is a occasion we get once a year to witness our faith as a Community.  I request all the Parishioners to join the Procession and demonstrate our unity with the Lord and with one another.
  1.  School Ground will be used for parking the Vehicles during the Diocesan Eucharistic Procession tomorrow/today at 3.00p.m.  onwards.
  1. Volunteers are requested to report at 2.30p.m. tomorrow/today to render service inside the Church Compound during the Eucharistic Procession.  All Gurkars, Ward Representatives and Head of the Association, including Eucharistic Ministers should extend their helping hand as Volunteers inside the Church Campus.
  1. As per the Diocesan Guidelines, Wards having more than 30 families are to be divided to facilitate to build Small Christian Communities.  Accordingly St. Francis Xavier Ward having (54+51) 105 families will be divided into two Wards for the present.  The boundary of the Ward and the list of the families is exhibited on the Notice Board.  The election of the Office Bearers (Gurkar, Ward Representative) will take place after Mass on Sunday, 14th January 2018.  The St. Francis Xavier Ward election for Ward Representative will take place after 7.00a.m. Mass and the new Ward – named Christ the King will take place after 8.15a.m. Mass  in the Parish Hall.  All the Ward members above the age of 18 years are requested to attend the election meeting.
  1. The Catechism Classes for children resume from tomorrow/today. All the children should attend the Catechism Classes without fail.
  1. The Government of India is organizing Pulse Polio Programme on Sunday, 28th January 2018 for the children below 5 years.  All the Parents are hereby informed to visit the nearby Public Health Centre, Anganavadi, Lady Goschen Hospital, Wenlock or any private Hospital and get the child immunized against Polio disease.
