  1. Tomorrow/today children have catechism.  Children are requested to  handover the Christmas Star to the Parish Hall between 8.15 to 9.15a.m.
  1. Today (Saturday), at 6.45p.m. the Diocese of Mangalore has organized Christmas Celebration with the poor in the Church Grounds.  Our Bishop will be present for the Programme.  I request the Volunteers and Choir members to be present on time at the Venue.

 

  1. The Solemn Christmas Mass will be celebrated tomorrow/today  at 7.30p.m. in the open air grounds of the Church, preceded by Carol Singing at 7.00p.m. After Mass there will be a short Programme related to Christmas.  Holy Masses on Monday, 25th December 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m., 8.15a.m. (English), 9/30a.m. and 5.00p.m. Tomorrow/today evening Mass at 5.00p.m. stands cancelled.
  1. New Year Celebrations:

Next Sunday, 31st is the last day of the year.  There will be Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the Church Ground at 7.00p.m.  followed by Thanksgiving Mass at 8.00p.m.  All are requested to attend the Adoration and the Holy Mass, to thank the Lord and to begin the New Year 2018 with the Blessing of the Lord.  Sunday evening 5.00p.m. Mass stands cancelled. New Year, January 1st Monday-Holy Mass at 6.00a.m., 7.00a.m., 8.15a.m., and 5.00p.m.

  1. The prizes for Winners of Catechism Children in the Christmas Crib, Card, Poster making, Colouring, Bible Quiz, and Christmas  Star Competition will be distributed tomorrow/today during 9.30a.m. Mass.  We congratulate all the Sunday Catechism students for taking part in the Competition and the Winners.  Special thanks for the teachers for organizing the Competition.
  1. Volunteers are requested to arrange Chairs for the Christmas Festive Mass tomorrow/today after 9.30a.m. Mass.
  1. Mrs. Sunitha Monteiro has been elected as the new Gurkarn of Sacred Heart Ward.  We congratulate and wish her fruitful tenure.
  1. On Thursday, 28th December, during the 7.00 a.m. Mass, we are celebrating the feast of the “Holy Innocents”. The parents of the Infants are requested to bring their children for the Mass.  We have special prayers for the Infants during the Mass.

Children  below the age of 6 years will be given sweets and toys after the 7.00a.m. Mass by the Ladies Social Service League  of Milagres Unit.  Please receive the same.

  1. Next Sunday we celebrate the feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
  1. The Diocesan Annual Eucharistic Procession will take place on Sunday, 7th January 2018.  Bishop of Mangalore will celebrate Mass here at our Parish at 3.30p.m. followed by the Eucharistic Procession to Rosario Cathedral Church. This is a occasion we get once a year to witness our faith as a Community.  I request all the Parishioners to join the Procession and demonstrate our unity with the Lord and with one another.
  1. Sunday Collection on 17th December is Rs.44,550/-.  Thank you for your generosity.
